| THE TECHNICIAN IN CHARGE The president of the Association, César Rwagasana, is also the technician in charge of the orthopedic workshop. He was born on 28 Dec. 1973 in Bujumbura (Burundi). Following a land mine accident during the Rwandan genocide he had to have one leg amputated.
He managed to surmount his handicap and received training as an orthopedist
through the ngo «Mulindi Japan One Love Project» as from 2000. He has also received intensive training during a 9 month scolarship in Japan and later at the CEBELOR orthopedic centre in Belgium and thereby required further technical skills in ortho-prosthetics. |

| THE SOCIAL ASSISTANT The vice president of the Association, Wendy Valentini is also the social assistant of the project. She graduated in 2003 from the I.S.F.S.C (Institut Supérieur de Formation sociale et de Communication) in Brussels, Belgium. Her role in the Association is to supervise the follow-up on the beneficiaries of the project, to initiate fund raising activities and to develop a training centre. |
